BILL STANKE, CPA

Bill was born in Nampa, Idaho on April 4, 1957. He attended Nampa schools all twelve years, graduating from high school in 1975. He then attended the University of Idaho, graduating in 1979 (cum laude) with a B.S. in business, major in accounting. He successfully completed the CPA exam in 1979, and has been licensed since that time in the State of Idaho.

Bill started his accounting career at Keytronic Corporation in Spokane, Washington. He then worked for Walter W. Shuham, CPA (P.A.) in Ketchikan, Alaska. Bill then returned to Idaho, and worked for Betty Nagle, CPA. Ms. Nagle then merged her accounting practice, and he became an employee of the Lewiston, Idaho accounting firm Presnell-Gage and Company. He also worked for the Moscow accounting firm of Hayden, Ross & Company.

In 1994, Bill and Greg Mann founded Mann & Stanke, CPA (P.A.). Bill has been principally interested in assisting clients with their tax preparation and tax planning needs.

Bill has been married to teacher Julie Stafford for the last twenty-one years. They share their home in Moscow with three border collies, Abby, Argus and Ellinor. Bill is an active member of local dog clubs, and is on the board of directors of the Humane Society of the Palouse. He also enjoys bicycling, woodworking and photography.

GREGORY G. MANN, CPA

Greg was born in Jerome, Idaho on August 16, 1959. He spent most of his youth growing up in Challis, Idaho having graduated from Challis High School in 1978. He then attended the University of Idaho, graduating in 1982 with a B.S. in business, major in accounting. He successfully completed the CPA exam in 1984, and has been licensed since that time in the State of Idaho.

Greg began his accounting career with the accounting firm of Hayden, Ross & Company in Moscow, Idaho. In 1994, he and Bill Stanke founded Mann & Stanke, CPA (P.A.). Greg has been principally interested in performing the role of financial officer for various small governmental entities in the local area. His tax practice consists of assisting clients with their tax preparation and tax planning needs with an emphasis on agricultural related issues.

Greg’s wife Pam Hilliard serves as Finance/Business Director for the University of Idaho Facility Services. They live on a 220 acre farm on Little Bear Ridge outside of Troy, Idaho. He enjoys being in the outdoors, and spending time with his two adult children and three granddaughters.
